Suzy Kolber (born Suzanne Lisa Kolber) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the 14th of May 1964. Her parents are Jewish. The age she is now at is the age of 58. Sandra Kolber is her mother and Gene Kolber is her father. She was a student at Sandy Run Middle School, Dresher Pennsylvania. In 1982 she was a graduate of Upper Dublin High School. Later she completed her studies at the University of Miami in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications. As just a freshman at college when she was hired with Dynamic Cable as the Sports Director. The company also hired her with Dynamic Cable for a couple of years between 1984 and 1986. During this period she was also a part of the water ski team in The University of Miami. Plaza was a part of Wilmington's community theater, acting as director and performing one-act plays. While in New York City, Plaza was a student at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended an improv course in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2006 she graduated with a master's degree in television and film production. A stroke caused her to suffer temporary expressive paraphasia at the age of 20. old.
