Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born on the 9th August, 1976. Audrey is the oldest child out of 4. Since a young age, her dental surgeon parents and her teacher mom supported her love of theatre and drama. This passion that trumps her first desire to be an animal scientist. She rose to prominence as a child actor quickly and enjoyed huge popularity and success. When she first began an acting career Tautou was a participant in Jeunes Premiers which was a French talent search TV program which was a part of Canal+ in 1998. Also, she was awarded the Best Young Actress in her performance in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou is a pupil of in the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and studied there at an early age but has sworn off her Catholic childhood. She now declares herself to be non-Catholic. In addition to her acting career, she pursued a modeling career. She is also the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. Her photography is also a hobby and she has recently displayed her work in the Arles festival under the name Superficial. Her work focuses on celebrity in addition to fame. It also features an assortment of self-portraits as well as a focus on journalists that have scrutinised Tautou since her meteoric rise in stardom following Amelie. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her first role in Amelie Poulain from Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. Amelie has been a box office hit internationally and praised at many award shows around the world. It's the most-grossing French film to be released in the United States. The popularity of the film brought Tautou into a wide range of roles, ranging from British dramas like Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
