Sara Gilbert is an American actor with a distinguished professional career. Sara has been in a number of television series and films. She is also co-host and the creator of the popular daytime talk show The Talk. The first time she appeared on the show was as Darlene in Roseanne. She was awarded 2 Primetime Emmy Award Nominations for this role. In addition to playing the character she's known for in this hit television show Leslie Winkle was also a famous character on The Big Bang Theory. Her credits as an actor include films such as Poison Ivy The Big Tease and Light It Up. She has also tried writing and directing scripts. Gilbert has chosen not to open up about her personal life once she discovered that she was homosexual. Prior to recognizing she was gay the actress had a romantic affair with her co-star in the show, actor Johnny Galecki. Sara Gilbert began a romantic relationship with Allison Adler. Sara Gilbert was married from 2014 until 2019 to the singer/songwriter Linda Perry.
