Maribel was born together with her brothers in Virginia However, details of their lives are lacking, was raised by parents and grandparents. Maribel was enthralled with the idea of getting a law degree at the age of seven. After she graduated from high school she decided to enroll at the University of Virginia. There she earned a bachelor's degree in foreign Policy as well as a Minor in German. Thomas Jefferson one of Declaration of Independence's authors founded the school in 1819. More than a century of educational programs are offered at the school that was built on Jefferson's Academical Village - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The university covers 1,600 acres on the main campus, and many more acres for the Research Park and Farm. After completing her degree, Maribel furthered her studies at New York Law School to pursue a Juris Doctor. Maribel Aber NYLS is a private law school known to be the home of high profile faculty, many of whom also have experience in the business and legal world.
